AMD was looking to advance its position as a differentiated and relevant global brand. It recognized its 14,000 employees were a critical resource in its brand-building strategy. |

InMomentum led a “Living the Brand” and alignment effort, designed to identify the key strategies critical to the brand promise. By recruiting a 25-member “Living the Brand” team, consisting of top leaders throughout the company, we identified five key gaps and a set of specific alignment recommendations. InMomentum also built and administered a custom Internal Brand Survey to assess brand awareness, understanding and alignment throughout the employee population. We helped lead a series of web-based brand training sessions designed to help external-facing employees in the sales and marketing organizations better communicate and drive the company’s value proposition. |

The Living the Brand action plans formed the basis for company-wide strategic imperatives. Employee understanding and awareness of the brand increased significantly as a result of the program. We developed a methodology to help the company understand the key drivers of employment choices. Using a conjoint analysis methodology, our Talent Magnetism Index assessed current employees’ evaluations of numerous aspects of the work environment, from compensation/benefits to values/cultural fundamentals. The Index also determined the relative utility of various work environment adjustments for increasing talent magnetism. When making modifications to the existing employee value proposition, the company used a Talent Magnetism Simulator to model potential improvements and their respective returns. |

InMomentum set out to identify the cultural markers of successful eBusiness companies – the organizational characteristics that differentiate high-momentum companies from low-momentum companies. Our research polled 4800 employees at 19 internet-enabled companies including Cisco and eBay. The study revealed a set of interdependent business systems linked to internet adoption, return-on-technology-investment and overall economic performance. |
